Clara Diebold, Reiki Master and Shamanic Practitioner

Reiki is a gentle, nurturing form of hands-on healing. Reiki is an excellent complementary method for many conditions, and can also be used independently for health maintenance and stress management.

A Reiki session involves light touch with the client fully clothed, on a bodywork table or in a chair. Most people find Reiki to be very pleasant and relaxing.

Reiki is founded on the work of Mikao Usui, a spiritual seeker who was born in Japan in the late 1800s. During a session, the Reiki practitioner acts as a conduit for universal energies that balance and support the healing process.

My sessions and classes are well-grounded in a traditional Reiki style that has preserved original teachings. I also am able to bring my experience with counseling and my training in Jin Shin Jyutsu and other traditional healing practices into my work with clients and students.

Reiki and other forms of energy work can provide effective complementary care for many health conditions and assistance for a variety of life challenges. Energy work tends to be particularly effective for stress management, injuries, concussion, surgery preparation and recovery, trauma, anxiety, spiritual development, and fulfillment of life goals. Reiki is not medical treatment and is not a substitute for medical or psychological care.

“Without reservation, I highly recommend Clara for all aspects of Reiki treatment. In 2010, I had a concussion. Clara was there to help, and I was able to resume my work. In 2012, when I was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor, once again Clara was there to help me. In 2016, I was diagnosed with a very rare form of lymphoma on my liver…aggressive cancer. They gave me 6 months to live. With a variety of treatments and with Clara’s Reiki help, I’m doing great. The doctors at Dana Farber can’t figure out how I can still be alive.”     — Diane Stoler, Ed.D.

Clara is compassionate and intuitive. Following each Reiki session, I felt profoundly peaceful and relaxed.     — Sue C.
